Marsha (Bulgrin) Christy
Marsha (Bulgrin) Christy passed away peacefully at her residence in Wesley Chapel, FL after a long illness with her family by her side on February 28, 2015. Marsha was born in Akron, Ohio on January 2, 1943. Marsha's greatest joy was her great-grandchildren, grandchildren, and family. She was active in her church, Fort King Alliance in Wesley Chapel, FL. She also dedicated her time to the Pregnancy Care Center and Womens Abused Center where she led many to the Lord in Florida. Marsha was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a foster parent to many. She was loved by all and would do anything to help someone in need. She was called mom by many people. She was a homemaker and worked at Christy Builders, the family business. She always called Ohio her real home.
She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Bulgrin; stepfather, Marvin Benson; and sister, Deborah Bulgrin Benedict.
Marsha is survived by her husband of 55 years, Donald P.; children, Donald A., Carrie (Jack) Moss, Dean (Donna), Daniel V. and Cathy Christy; mother, Betty Bulgrin Benson; sisters, Cheryl (Dennis) Gerbetz, Susan (William) Henderson; sister-in-law, Virginia Beaver. She had 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Monday, March 9, 2015 from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. For those who wish, memorials may be made to the family.
