Marie E. Lakatos, 78, went home to be with the Lord on March 1, 2015 after a long fight with illness. She was born in Charleston, WV to the late James and Josephine Wiseman. She was employed by Cuyahoga Falls Country Place for many years as a nurses aide. Marie loved taking care of her residents. She was a hard working mother, who loved her family dearly. She was an avid shopper, enjoyed bowling, and watching TV. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, John; sisters Virginia and Mae; brother, James; granddaughter, Missy; and grandson, Nathan. Those left to share her memory are children, Sandy Schumaker, Johnny (Margie) Keeling, Duane (Trish) Keeling, Judy (Gerald) Pace; grandchildren, Sammy, Paul, Justin, Danyle, Jonathan, Heather, Greg, Nick, and April; 17 great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty and Barbara Jean; and a host of other relatives and friends. Family will receive friends on Thursday March 5, 2015 from 4-6:30pm with memorial service following at 6:30pm at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305.
