Janet D. Aller
Janet D. Aller, 77, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2015, at home surrounded by family. Janet was born on March 3, 1937 in Ironton, Ohio to the late Thomas J. McClain Sr. and Bessie Anna (Anderson) McClain.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Ann (Carrico) Cork; her niece, Cheryl Ann Garcia; four brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her two daughters, Pamela Richardson of Randolph and Kimberly (Scott) Graham of Akron; nine grandchildren, Jarrad Davis, Joe and Jena Richardson of Randolph, Jessica Cork of Cuyahoga Falls, Andrea (Marco) Smith of Akron, and Zachary, Nathanael, Brigid, and Isaiah Graham of Akron; a beloved nephew, Eugene "Bud" McClain and niece, Penny Dodgion of Ironton, and nephew, David Garcia of Akron. Janet retired from the University of Akron in 1994.
She is a member of Faith Fellowship Baptist Church of Stow. Services will be held Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation for an hour prior at Faith Fellowship Baptist Church, 4872 Darrow Rd, Stow, OH 44224. If desired, flowers may be sent to the church between 10 a.m. and 12 noon on Saturday. Private burial will take place at a later date.
