Daniel A. Messenger, 69 of Norton, OH was welcomed into his Heavenly Home on April 19, 2018. He retired from Loyal Oak Lake Park after many successful years of service as General Manager.

He was preceded in death by parents, Amos and Mary Messenger; brothers John and Ronald Messenger.

He leaves his loving wife of 50 wonderful years Tsianina Messenger. Beloved children Angela (Tim) Henthorn and Daniel (Jen) Messenger; his cherished grandchildren Emily, Colin and Logan; sister Candice Woody; brother Rich (Meg) Messenger, along with a host of relatives and friends.

Family and friends are welcome for visitation on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 from 5-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. A celebration of Daniel's life will take place at 12 pm on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 also at the funeral home. Graveside service to follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
