Dorothy A. Hardy, 90, of Akron, passed away at her home on March 11, 2018. Dorothy was born in Akron on June 29, 1927 to the late John and Helen Galvich. Dorothy was devoted to her family and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Hardy. She is survived by her children, Ray Hardy and Debbie Hardy; grandchildren, Ryan (Emily) Friend Sr. and Kurt (Lindsay) Friend; and great-grandchildren, Ryan Jr., Amelia, Emerald, Sophia, and Peyton. Family and friends may gather on Friday, March 16, 2018 from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron.
