Chuck proudly served in the U.S. Army during World War II, earning two Bronze stars. He retired from Union Chain after 32 years of employment. Chuck loved walking at the Tallmadge Recreation Center and made many friends there. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Weldon and daughter, Marilyn VanHoose. He will be missed by three great-grandchildren and his stepson, Pastor Don (Corrinne) Rohrbacher.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 11:30-12:30 followed by a 12:30 p.m. funeral service with Pastor Don Rohrbacher officiating. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Chuck's family is especially thankful to the staff at GreenView Senior Assisted Living.
