Rick J. Mullins “Goob”, 62, began riding with the angels on October 17, 2017. Rick was the kindest man and had the biggest heart. He enjoyed time with his family, riding his Harley, playing his harmonica, singing a country tune, and hanging with his buddies. He left his mark in our hearts and will be missed dearly. We were blessed to have known such an amazing guy.

Greeted in heaven by Charlotte “Mamaw”, Aunt Jenny, Grandma Jo and Bill, and his step-mom, Billie. Never to forget those who left us too early in life, cousin Steve, “Brother” Lo, best man Mark, and great-nephew Josh. Left to ride alone are his wife of 43 years, Miss Donna; daughter Kelly “Sister Sue” (Don) VanBuskirk, Devon “Sonny Buck” (Cecily) Mullins; precious grandkids Rachell, Corrina, Kayla, and Wyatt; dad Hamp Mullins; brother Doug (Jill) Mullins; sister Terri (James) Howell; half-siblings Debbie (Mike) Combs and Kenny (Mandy) Mullins; step-brothers Bert Griggs and Mitch (Paula) Griggs along with his in-laws Barbara (David) Sabett; Larry (Kate) Thomas; Janet (David) Sattler; Beth (Tom) McAlonan. Many special family members, countless friends, and an infinite number of riding buddies and “brothers”. Special thanks to the many specialists, doctors, and Wanda NFP that have helped Rick over the past several years.

Family will receive friends on Friday October 20, 2017 from 5-8pm and Saturday October 21, 2017 from 11-1pm with the funeral service starting at 1pm at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305. Rev. Powell Woods officiating.
