Miguel Armando Noriega, 34, of Akron, died at 10:04 a.m., Sunday, August 6th, 2017, from injuries sustained in a one vehicle accident in Stow, Ohio.

Miguel was born January 21st, 1983 in Rapid City, South Dakota but was a lifelong resident of Akron. He worked as a roofing contractor and, for the past 7 years, worked at Blossom Music Center as a seasonal maintenance and lawn care worker. Loved by all of his friends and coworkers, he was a caring father, brother, and son who went out of his way to make other people laugh. He enjoyed the outdoors, started many projects (that he didn’t always finish), and loved to take pictures of the people in his life. He worked hard, enjoyed his friends, and always looked forward to the future.

He is survived by his only son, Armando (Akron); mother Margaret (Akron); paternal grandmother, Zoila Arizpe, (Hollister, CA); three sisters, Elena Noriega, Sandi (Dave) Cleavenger, and Carla (Earl) McDonald (Akron); three nieces, one nephew and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Lucinda Harvey (Stow).

He is preceded in death by his father, Miguel Noriega, and grandparents, Miguel Lopez Noriega, Edward Patrick Flynn and Mardell Juanita Yappel.

Friends and family will be received on Friday August 11th from 3:00-4:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron OH 44305, with a memorial service to follow at 4:00 p.m.
