Sandra Jo Fox, 64, of Akron, passed away August 3, 2017. Sandra was born in Muncie, Indiana on March 17, 1953 and was a lifelong resident of the Akron area. Sandra graduated from North High School, class of 1972 and she retired from Akron General Medical Center, Radiology File Room with over 20 years of service. She loved playing bingo and getting together with her friends, the "Golden Girls." The light of her life were her grandchildren and she loved more than anything to spend time with them.

Sandra was preceded in death by her father, James Chambers; sister, Lucinda Burns, and brother, Kevin Chambers.
She will be dearly missed by her husband, Jeffrey W. Fox; mother, Patricia Kerr; children, Jeffrey P. (Jum) Fox and Jennifer (Jeff) Day; sister, Sue (Charlie) Thomas; brother, James Chambers; grandchildren, Taylor, Nathan, Ariana, Jordan, Ryan, Lamai and Malee; great-grandchildren, Noelle, Jovani, Lakota and Leo, and many nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Tewari and the staff of the CVICU at Akron General for their exceptional care.

Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date.
