Lucille Stella Rich McNeill Foradas will be remembered for her beauty, compassion, and generosity. She passed away peacefully on July 19 at the age of 93. She was born in Akron, Ohio in 1924 to parents Newton and Mary Nuosce Rich. She graduated from Akron Garfield High School where she was President of the senior class and then she attended the University of Akron. She was employed by Akron Public Schools as the secretary at Garfield High School for over 25 years. She and her first husband, Charles McNeill were part owners in the Amber Restaurant on Canton Road and in Krispy Kreme Donuts of Akron. Lucille was an enthusiastic and talented golfer and as a member of Prestwick Country Club, she was president of the Ladies Golf Association. She enjoyed literature and was an avid reader. After her marriage to Peter J. Foradas in 1988, the couple enjoyed their passion of traveling. Lucille leaves many family members and friends who love her for her devotion to them and for her caring and loving nature.

She is preceded in death by parents Newton and Mary Rich, husbands Charles McNeill and Peter Foradas, and son-in-law Daniel (Laura) Abrashoff.

Surviving her and cherishing her memory are son Mark (Dawn) McNeill, daughter Laura Abrashoff, stepson John (Susie) Foradas, stepdaughter Francine Poulos, brothers Victor Rich and Vincent Rich, sisters Faye Miller and Vivian Saccone, brother-in-law Chris (Elbus) Kellamis, sister-in-law Harriet Marinos, 5 grandsons, 7 granddaughters, 10 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews and friends.

Appreciation and gratitude are extended to Poinciana Medical Center and Hospice in Poinciana, Florida for their tender and loving care. Lucille's genuineness and unselfish nature are embraced by those in her life. She is a woman who will forever be remembered as a stylish and classy lady.

Friends and family may call at Newcomer Funeral Home from 3-6:00 PM on Thursday, August 10 with a prayer service at 5:30 PM. On Friday, August 11, morning calling hour is 9:30-10:30 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron followed by 11:00 AM mass at Nativity Catholic Church, 2425 Myersville Road, Akron. Interment follows the mass at Holy Cross Cemetery, Waterloo Road.
