Duane proudly served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from Kent State University. His greatest loves were fishing and photography.
Duane was preceded in death by parents, Leslie Redd and Marjorie Valentine; and sisters, Carol Moye and Joyce Johnson. Survivors include his brother, Donald (Sharon) Redd; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, July 28, 2017 from 2-3 followed by a 3 p.m. funeral service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cleveland Clinic/AGMC Hospice Care Center, 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Copley, OH 44333.
