Timothy "Timmy Joe" Crowe
1956 - 2017

Timothy "Timmy Joe" Crowe, 61, suddenly passed away surrounded by family on July 14, 2017. A lifelong resident of Akron, Tim was an EMT with Hospital Ambulance Service (HAS) for six years before being employed for 27 years by Akron Children's Hospital in the engineering department. He was a die-hard Cleveland Browns fan who will be watching the home opener as the Browns take the win. Tim was a great husband, father, Paw-paw, brother, and uncle who had a great character. As a Native American he was a proud member of Alderville First Nation Band 37.

Tim was preceded in death by father, Neil Crowe; mother, Rose Cosentino; mother-in-law, Shirley Brown; brother, Curtis Crow; sister, Karen Crowe; nephews, Brandon Osco, Christopher Kenna; niece, Chelcia Crowe; great-nephew, Tyler Crowe. He is survived by loving wife, Carla; sons, Chad, Clayton, Coleton, Caleb; daughter, Baby (Steve); grandchildren, Cayden, Chance, Laniya, Adrianna, Aiden, Kaylynn, Caiya; brother, Steve "Stevie", sisters, Cathy, Cindy (Bob), Julie, Bonnie (Gary), Connie (Doug), Chrissy, Loretta; sisters-in-law, Donna (Ally), Teresa (Rob), Tracy, Joanne "Josie"; many, many, many nieces, and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 21, 2017 from 1:00pm-3:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. A Celebration of Life will follow at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Akron Children's Hospital.
