In Memory Of
Stella G. Kaiser
1923 - 2017
She married John C. Kaiser, a veteran, in 1942 and they raised their family with lots of love and laughter. After John's passing, Stella worked for M. O'Neil Company as a collections representative and was very dedicated to her position. After retirement, Stella served as an officer and tour director for Ellet Golden Keenagers for many years. She developed many close friendships and was endeared by all during their countless bus trips to shows and casinos. Stella was a world traveler, visiting Australia, New Zealand, Europe, and the Orient. She took a fun and memorable trip to London in 1996 with her daughter, Sondra. Most of her favorite every day activities revolved around family. Sunday dinners, china and all, were a regular event at her home. Holidays were meant to be celebrated in the finest ways possible. Nothing brought a smile to her face and a spring in her step like being around her children and grandchildren. She was their biggest fan during all their arts and sporting events.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Wednesday at 10:15 a.m. followed by a procession to St. Matthew Catholic Church for an 11:00 a.m. Funeral Mass. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to The Village of St. Edward's Nursing Home or Great Lakes Caring Hospice.
