Carol L. Kay, 64, went into the arms of the Lord on Monday, November 28, 2016 in Akron, Ohio. She was born on May 30, 1952 in Akron, Ohio to William and Lois Allen. She had over 40 years of service at Ferriot. Carol was a devoted daughter, mother and grandmother. She loved to crochet and knit for anyone she could. Carol liked taking long walks along the beach while looking for sea shells, but spending time with her family gave her the most joy.
She is preceded in death by her father, William; brother, Kenny.
Carol is survived by her children, Melinda Tickle, Michael Skacevic, Heather (Noel) Smith; mother, Lois Allen; siblings, Deborah, Sherry,Bruce; grandchildren, Tyler, Kali, Kiersten, Kaidence, Gage, Hayden; great grandchild on the way, Kyah
Family will receive friends on Saturday, December 3, 2016 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home & Cremation , 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, Ohio 44305.
