Robert Lee Clark, Tallmadge, Ohio, passed away on September 28, 2016.

Bob lived most of his life in Tallmadge and was a graduate of Tallmadge High School, class of 1963, and the University of Akron, 1978. He was a proud U.S Navy veteran, serving aboard the U.S.S. Albany, and was also a member of the U.S.S. Albany Association. Bob retired from Bridgestone/Firestone, working in the Compound Development Lab with over 34 years' service. He was a longtime member of the Chapel of Fir Hill.

Bob was well known around town for the many Corvettes he owned over the years. He always wanted to be understood, accepted and loved by everyone. Some of his phobias got in the way sometimes, but he always treated everyone with kindness and got the same in return from his many friends and family. When anyone met Bob they were greeted warmly, introduced all around and became an immediate friend.

Bob was preceded in death by his loving wife and best friend, Linda Lee Clark, who passed away a few days after their daughter Christine was born. Christine was a blessing for Bob and took care of him through many years of sickness and health. Linda was a loving wife and would have been a great mother and example to follow. Bob was also blessed with two more wonderful daughters, Jacqulyn and Roxann. They provided extraordinary love and care throughout his sickness. Also preceding Bob in death were his parents, Ernest and Beulah Clark, grandmother Mary Lance, and sister-in-law Peggy Clark.

Survivors include his loving daughters Christine Clark, Jacqulyn (Jason) Church, Roxann (Monty) Sales, grandsons Steven (Jessica) Lindsey, Dru Lindsey, Cole Ryder Greenwood, and great-granddaughter Lilah Lindsey. He also leaves sisters Linda (Jerry) Allen, Mary Ellen (Harry) Kepler and brother David Clark.

Bob wants to thank all the people at Fresenius Center in Kent, Ohio for their many years of love and care. Cremation will take place and the family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 pm on October 4, 2016 with a memorial service to follow, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH.
