Richard R. Freeman

Richard R. Freeman, 71, went home to be with the Lord on September 27, 2016. He was born in Bryson City, NC. Richard was a tow truck driver for 20 years. He loved fishing, working on cars and playing bingo. He attended Arlington Memorial Baptist Church for a short amount of time.

Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel Freeman; brothers, Charles Freeman and JD Freeman; and his sister, Jean Costello. He leaves to cherish his memory, loving wife of 42 years, Bonnie; son, Richard (Stacie) Freeman Jr.; daughter, Dawn (James) Mann; grandchildren, Rianne, David, Richard III, Jazmine and Alexa; best friends, Debi and Larry Carney; longtime friend, Mark Manning; sisters in-law, Ruth Burge Dawson, Faye Burge, Carol Burge, Betty Curtis, Sue Johnson; his companion, Lady Bug; and many nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Friday September 30, 2016 from 10-12pm with the funeral service immediately following at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305. Pastor Dave Bogue officiating.
