Carole E. Wirth, age 68 of Akron, Ohio, died on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 11:36 AM at Akron City Hospital. She was born on April 24, 1948 in Morgantown, WV, the daughter of the late Walter Lewis and Rose Knight Chisler.
Carole worked in collections for 15 plus years at Sterling Jewelers in Fairlawn until she retired in 1999. She loved Tweety Bird, Elvis Presley, and collecting purses. Carole loved to play bingo, play cards, and bake. But her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Robert (Sandra) Weatherholt, Fabian (Violet) Weatherholt, Ralph Weatherholt, and Catherine (Mike) Beal; 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Her siblings also survive, Judy Mayfield, Roger (Marlene) Chisler, John (Tina) Chisler, and Steve Chisler.
Other than her parents, Carole was preceded in death by Donald H. Wirth; her son, Donald H. Wirth, II; her siblings, her twin brother-Carl Chisler, Jerry Chisler, and Walter Chisler.
Funeral services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 1 PM, where Elder Paul J. Edwards will celebrate Carole's life. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home from 11 AM until the time of the service.
Carole will be buried with her husband and son at the Greenlawn Memorial Park, Akron, Ohio.
