Delores Darlene Markel, age 71, of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, died on June 13, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born on December 28, 1944 in Akron, Ohio.
Darlene liked to sew, cook, and she loved the outdoors.
Survivors include her children, Chris (Paula) Marshall, Sherri Marshall, and April Markel; 8 grandchildren; and one sister, Nancy (Bob) Stone.
Her brother, Danny Kendrick is deceased.
Funeral services will be held at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron on Friday 6/17/2016 at 12:00 PM, Noon.
Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday, 6/16/2016, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.
Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
